Uses

Production method

1. Natural gas is pre-treated and purified to obtain crude helium, which is then liquefied and refined.

2. Condensation method The condensation method is used in industry to extract helium from natural gas. The process includes the pre-treatment and purification of natural gas, the preparation of crude helium and the refining of helium to produce 99.99% pure helium. The air separation method generally adopts the fractionation method to extract crude helium and neon mixed gas from the air device, and then produce pure helium and neon mixed gas from the crude helium and neon mixed gas. After separation and purification, 99.99% pure helium is obtained. Hydrogen liquefaction method The hydrogen liquefaction method is used in industry to extract helium from synthetic ammonia tail gas. The process of this method is to remove nitrogen by low-temperature adsorption, distill to obtain crude helium, add oxygen catalytic dehydrogenation and helium purification to obtain 99.99% pure helium. The high-purity helium production method further purifies the 99.99% pure helium by activated carbon adsorption to obtain 99.9999% high-purity helium.
